Yanli Wang, professor of Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Science, principal investigator of nucleic acid biology, employed as adjunct professor and making academic report in our school

  Recently, Yanli Wang, professor of Hundred Talents Program of Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, doctoral supervisor, visited our school and was employed as adjunct professor of Institute of Life Sciences, Jiangsu University. Ceremony was held in the third meeting of the conference center. Vice President, Long Chen, awarded letter of appointment and wore school badge for professor Yanli Wang, director of Institute of Life Sciences, Keping Chen presided over the ceremony.
After the ceremony, professor Wang made an academic report about the structure and function of RNA mediated gene silencing for teachers and students of our school and introduced the latest research results about structure and function of proteins related to RNA interference and the immune molecular mechanism of CRISPR - Cas system against virus. After the lecture, professor Wang answered students'' questions warmly and encouraged students to work hard and try their best to get good scientific research achievements in future.
  Yanli Wang, professor of Hundred Talents Program of Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, doctoral supervisor, mainly engaged in protein structure and function of RNA interference. Currently, professor Yanli Wang is principal investigator member of the nucleic acid biology of Chinese academy of sciences and presided over 973 projects of Ministry of Science and Technology the key project of national natural science foundation, national outstanding young science foundation project, the key project of National Natural Science Foundation and strategic leading science and technology projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (class B), etc. Meanwhile, professor Yanli Wang has published many papers in the toppest international journals such as Nature magazine.
