On April 28, 2015，a ceremony was held in the third report hall of conference center of Jiangsu University to appoint Professor Hassan Ashktorab as adjunct professor of Jiangsu University. Professor Jijian Zhang, Vice president of JiangSu University , issued letter of appointment and wore school badge for professor Hassan Ashktorab. The ceremony was chaired by Keping Chen, Dean of the Institute of Life Sciences. Faculty members and students of the institute of life sciences attended the meeting.
After the ceremony, professor Hassan made an academic report titled " Colorectal Carcinogenesis: The beginning of the End in Genomic Next Generation Sequencing ", which reveals the mechanism of Colorectal Carcinogenesis and related research results. After the report, Professor Hassan interacted with teachers and students actively, and answered many technical questions patiently.
Hassan Ashktorab, professor of Howard university, is mainly engaged in molecular medicine and long-term commitment to human disease research, and he has received numerous awards and presided over a number of important scientific research projects, like NIH etc. Meanwhile, professor Hassan has published more than 90 SCI papers, of which more than 20 articles as the first author, and the total impact factor of the papers is more than 100 points. Some of his papers was published in some important periodicals, such as JOURNAL OF CLINICAL ONCOLOGY、GUT.
