Professor Yongzhong Hou continuously published research papers on: Oncogene
On December 2nd, Professor Yongzhong Hou’s research group from the Institute of Life Sciences of Jiangsu University has published online one research paper named“PPAR γ E3 ubiquitin ligase regulates MUC1-C oncoprotein stability” on Oncogene (IF: 7.35), who is the corresponding author. It’s the second time to publish article on Oncogene since April 2013, which title is “Inhibitor of growth 4 induces NFκB/p65 ubiquitin-dependent degradation”.
This novel study reveals that the mechanism of the two critical proteins ( ING4 and PPAR γ) induce tumor protein degradation, leading to inhibit tumor growth, which contribute to provide new drug targets for treatment cancer.
Professor Yongzhong Hou joined the Institute of life sciences of Jiangsu University in 2012, and he is focusing on mechanism of tumorigenesis and drug development. As the first corresponding author, he has published 12 English articles, one of them is published on Nature Communications to reveal the new antitumor mechanism of PPAR γ. Nature Communications is the third among all multidisciplinary science primary research journals, with Nature being first.
