In order to further strengthen the construction of teachers in the college, improve the teaching ability and professional level, and implement the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue, our college successfully held the first teaching competition in the Room 204 of graduate building on October 29th. The jury experts of the competition included Mrs. Xue Hongli (deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office of the university); Prof. Huang Juan (famous teacher and head of national first-class undergraduate courses), Dr. Zhu Xiangying, (director of provincial first-class undergraduate courses of the School of Environment and Safety Engineering), Prof. Tan Xiaoli (president of School of life Science), and Dr. Liu Xiaoyong (vice president of School of life science). The competition was presided over by the dean Tan Xiaoli, and a total of 17 teachers participated in the competition.

In the process of the competition, the participating teachers used a variety of teaching forms, combined with the actual cases, to do extensive reference, which makes the class wonderful. The judges rated the teachers fairly from aspects of teaching design, teaching content, teaching display, language teaching state, etc. Finally, Zhang Wei won the first prize, Yu Qian and other 3 won the second prize, and Lu Peng and other 5 won the third prize.

The expert judges made detailed comments on the competition respectively, which not only affirmed the excellent performance of the participating teachers, but also put forward pertinent guidance on the shortcomings in the teaching process. The participating teachers all expressed that they should strengthen their study in the future, continuously promote their professional quality, improve their teaching ability and level, and truly shoulder the mission and responsibility of teacher education and teaching in the new era.
