On November 26th ,Associate Professor Wangqiang accepted the invitation from "Wukesong Forum" to give a speech at the Institute of Life Science.The title of this speech was “Pathogen infection and innate immune responses newly discovered”. Part of graduate students listened to this lecture.
The theme of this speech was the innate immune system. Associate Professor Wangqiang introduced complete mechanisms of the pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa which usually infected humans and could cause a range of immune responses. At the same time, Associate Professor Wangqiang mentioned complete mechanisms to kill and to destroy these pathogens in humans’body. After this speech, some graduate students came up with some questions. Then Associate Professor Wangqiang answered these questions carefully and rigorously.
Associate Professor Wangqiang gained the master''s degree of Institute of Life Sciences at Jiangsu University in 2008. Then he went to the Department of Medicine of Kanazawa University in Japan to pursue a doctorate. After obtaining a doctorate in 2013 in Japan, he went to Molecular Genetics Laboratory of Japanese Institute of Physical Chemistry for postdoctoral. In recent years, there have been papers published in SCI.
