To help the majority of students solve series of problems such as jobs choices , the Institute of Life Sciences invited the secretary of faculty Zhu Lingping made a scientific career planning seminars - -open the door to career development. The lecturesat held at 604 conference room on Dec. 12, 2014 ,which began at 13:30, and finished at 15:30, most grades two and three students participated in the meeting.

In the meeting, teacher Zhu explained the benefits of having a career plan and identify resources to assist the students, such as a taegeted approach to finding employment”Who am I?” and “What am I looking for”. Then understand how to work the job market, that is”How can I look for a good job”. Teacher told us we should through struchured self-analysis develop a concise picteue of what we have to offer, and we needs, then identified employment options that matched our capabilities, interests, values and life needs.And the next step: looking for ourselves marketing strategy. Also, teacher Zhu told us the important points when we are looking for a job,Like our study background, our key strengths, some milestone career achievements and our aims in going forward career.

To all of us, this lecture is not just a knowledge of the talks, it is a method for know oueselves. From this meeting, we know how to plan our careers and how to find a satisfying jobs. The lecture is ended, but it make us thinking far from over.
