Last summer to autumn, some teachers and students of Life Science College carried out a holiday social practice activity before the arrival of the new term, it made Life Science College students experience the entrepreneurship and practice ahead of time.

On September 1st, eight graduate students came to Danyang Rural Holy Tree Cooperative under the guidance of Dr Zhouyang, Ma Shangshang teacher and Wang Yiyi teacher. What come into sight is a pool and mulberry leaves full of the floor. The principal of the cooperative received all people passionately and introduced the main content of the cooperative work and existing products, and the later planning. Later on, the principal showed some products such as mulberry leaf tea, mulberry leaf powder and hair dye. Mulberry leaf tea has the effect of clearing and smoothing lung; mulberry leaf powder has the effect of making people more beautiful; hair dye has the effect of maintaining hair equality and improving the phenomenon of alopecia. Students were full of interests in these natural products. It is understood that mulberries have abundant applying value, they not only can be used in sericulture, but also can be used in feed industry, food industry, and medical health care products industry. Mulberries will have a large market in the future, and this needs people in relevant field to exploit.

The social practice quickly drew to the end, students gained a lot through this acitivity. They not only went out of school and labs, but also experienced the environment of enterprise, it brings motivation and guidance to students for their later study, at the same time, it provides novel thought to students’ employment and entrepreneurship.
