Dr. Ruiwu Wang, associate researcher of Kunming Institute of Zoology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, is going to deliver an academic report titled “ Non symmetry and uncertainty selection of cooperative behavior--Discussion on the grafting between biology and economics” in the meeting room of Institute of Life Sciences at 9:30 a.m. on September 30th, 2010. All the teachers and students are welcome to attend the report.
Dr. Ruiwu Wang is an expert in macro-ecology field, and published more than 10 papers which were indexed in science citation index (SCI), including the authoritative journals in macro-ecology field,such as Ecology，J Animal Ecology, PLoS ONE. In 2009, Dr. Ruiwu Wang published a paper in PLoS ONE and challenged the classic theory “Tragedy of the commons”, which was proposed in Science in 1986 by Hardin. And his study was recommended and discussed by Faculty of 1000 Biology, and was adopted as one of the Ten Cutting-edge Science of China in 2009. The paper published by Dr. Ruiwu Wang in J Animal Ecology in 2008 was adopted in the Anthology Commemorating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin which Launched by J Animal Ecology. J Animal Ecology was established in 1930 and has become one of the flagship journals of British Ecological Society. In order to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin, J Animal Ecology selected and edited 20 papers（Virtual issue）that published in recent years
