To further implement the special action of “visiting enterprises to expand posts and promote employment,” deepen university-enterprise industry-university-research cooperation, broaden employment channels for graduates, and promote precise alignment between talent cultivation and industrial needs, Professor Yong Yangchun, Dean of our School, recently led a team to visit and exchange with the alumni enterprise Jiangsu Hongrun Biomass Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Relevant faculty members of the School also participated in the survey.

During the discussions and on-site exchanges, Dean Yong Yangchun and the delegation carefully listened to the enterprise’s introduction of its development history, main business, technological R&D directions, and talent and job position needs. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics such as biomass conversion technology R&D, the commercialization of research outcomes, the construction of internship and practice bases, and the placement of graduates in employment. Faculty members introduced the School of Biological Sciences and Technology’s disciplinary development, talent cultivation model, and the characteristics of students’ professional competence, expressing the hope to rely on the enterprise’s industrial platform to build student internship and practical training bases and closely integrate classroom research outcomes with actual industrial needs. The enterprise fully affirmed the overall quality of our university’s graduates and expressed its willingness to continue recruiting outstanding graduates. Enterprise representatives said they looked forward to strengthening joint university-enterprise research to jointly overcome technical difficulties in the biomass energy industry and achieve complementary resources and win-win cooperation between the university and the enterprise.

This visit to enterprises to expand posts has further strengthened the School’s ties with alumni enterprises and opened up channels for industry-university-research collaboration. Going forward, the School will continue to connect with high-quality enterprises in the biomass energy field, continuously expand employment position resources, improve the university-enterprise joint talent cultivation mechanism, guide students to base themselves on the green and low-carbon industry, apply their professional knowledge to the development of the real economy, and effectively promote high-quality full employment of graduates.
