A lecture given by Doctor Zhigang Tu
Title: BRCA1-BRG1 Involved Signaling Pathway In Oncogene-Cellular Senescence and Tumorigenesis. BRCA1-BRG
Speaker: Doctor Zhigang Tu
Time: March 20, 14:30
Place: Classroom 604 of Institute of Life Sciences
Sponsor: Institute of Life Sciences
Lecturer Brief Introduction:
Zhigang Tu, doctor of The Wistar Institute (America Philadelphia). Areas of specialization: Molecular and cellular biology, the researches on the mechanism of the tumorigenesis. In the past five years, he has published 10 papers, the first author SCI retrieval paper. His representative works published in Developmental Cell (Year 2012 IF:14.03).In 2009, he got the best academic achievement award of Stevens Institute of Technology. He found that RAS protocarcinogenic gene make use of regulating the expression of BRIP1, inducting BRCA1 dissociated from chromatin, inhibiting DNA repair, promoting cell death. He designed many series of anticancer polypeptide through multifarious methods, which significantly increased the selectivity and drug resistance of efficient anticancer polypeptide. This provides a novel widely applicable guidance law for the function of anticancer polypeptide oriented design.
